Source : Escherichia Coli. B-type Natriuretic Peptide Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 32 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 3464 Dalton. NPPB is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Natriuretic Peptide Precursor B acts as a cardiac hormone with a variety of biological actions including natriuresis, diuresis, vasorelaxation, and inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion. It is thought to play a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis. Helps restore the body's salt and water balance. Improves heart function.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized B-type Natriuretic Peptide in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
