Source : E.coli. PP4C Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single polypeptidechain containing 330 amino acids (1-307) and having a molecular mass of 37.5kDa. PPP4C is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein Phosphatase 4 Catalytic subunit (PPP4C), is a part of the Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase catalytic subunits which tskes part in dephosphorylation and regulation of HDAC3. The protein phosphatase (PP) holoenzyme is a trimeric complex compound of a regulatory subunit, a variable subunit and a catalytic subunit. 4 major families of protein phosphatase catalytic subunits have been identified, designated PP1, PP2A, PP2B (calcineurin) and PP2C.
Purification : Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Content : The PPP4C solution (1mg/1ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.
Storage condition : Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
