CD5L Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain (a.a 20-347) containing 337 amino acids including a 9 a.a N-terminal His tag. The total molecular mass is 37.2kDa (calculated).
CD5 antigen-like (CD5L) participates in the regulation of the immune system. CD5L functions as an inhibitor of apoptosis. CD5L is expressed in the spleen, lymph node, thymus and bone marrow.
It is recommended to add 200µl deionized water to a working concentration of 0.5mg/ml and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. CD5L is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.
