FAIM Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (1-213aa) and having a molecular mass of 26.4kDa.FAIM is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Fas
apoptotic inhibitory molecule, also known as FAIM function as an inducible
effector molecule which mediates Fas resistance produced by surface Ig engagement
in B cells. In addition FAIM protects against death receptor-triggered
apoptosis and regulates B-cell signaling and differentiation. Among the
diseases associated with FAIM are hemorrhagic thrombocythemia, and food allergy.
