GNG13 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single,
non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 87 amino acids (1-64 a.a) and
having a molecular mass of 10.0 kDa.
GNG13 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus
& purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Guanine Nucleotide Binding Protein Gamma 13, also known as GNG13 is a member of the G protein
gamma family. Heterotrimeric G proteins, which consist of alpha, beta, and
gamma subunits, function as signal transducers for the 7-transmembrane-helix G
protein-coupled receptors. GNG13 is the gamma subunit which is expressed in
taste, retinal, and neuronal tissues and takes a central part in taste transduction.
