10 µg |
Source : HEK.
IFN-a 2b Human Recombinant produced in HEK cells is a glycosylated monomer, having a total molecular weight of 16kDa.The IFN-a 2b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
IFN-alpha is produced by macrophages and has antiviral activities. Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IFN-a 2b in sterile water not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent cytotoxicity of the human TF-1 cell line (human erythroleukemic indicator cell line) and is typically 0.02-0.08ng/ml.
