The Acrp30 Mouse Recombinant is fused with FLAG tag having a total Mw of 26kDa.
Adiponectin is an important negative regulator in hematopoiesis and immune systems. It may be involved in ending inflammatory responses through its inhibitory functions. Inhibits endothelial nf-kappa-b signaling through a camp-dependent pathway. Inhibits tnf-alpha- induced expression of endothelial adhesion molecules. Involved in the control of fat metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Acrp30 Mouse in sterile 18M-cm H2O at 0.5mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions. Full-length mouse adiponectin activates AMP-activated protein kinase in hepatocyte and activates AMPK in HepG2 human hepatocytes at a concentration of 1000ng/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1000IU/mg. Mouse adiponectin mammalian cell derived inhibits glucose production as shown by in-vitro gluconeogenesis assay in primary rat hepatocytes.
