Anti-human ALK/P80 mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human ALK/P80 amino acids 81-294 purified from E. coli. |
ALK/p80 is a human p80 protein, identified as a hybrid of the anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) gene and the nucleophosmin (NPM) gene resulting from the t(2;5)(p23;q35) translocation found in a third of large cell lymphomas.
ALK/P80 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and Immunohistochemical analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 2,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:1,000.
