Alternative Name : LCA, LY5, B220, CD45, T200, GP180, Receptor-type tyrosine-protein phosphatase C, Leukocyte common antigen, L-CA, PTPRC.
Amount : 10 µg
Source : Escherichia Coli. PTPRC Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 257 amino acids (1031-1251a.a) and having a molecular mass of 29.6kDa. PTPRC is fused to a 36 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase Receptor Type C, also known as PTPRC, which is a vital regulator of T- and B-cell antigen receptor signaling, is also a part of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. PTPs are signaling molecules which regulate a variety of cellular processes including differentiation, cell growth, mitosis, and oncogenic transformation. PTPRC contains an extracellular domain, a single transmembrane segment and 2 tandem intracytoplasmic catalytic domains, and therefore is classified as a receptor type PTP.
Purification : Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Content : The PTPRC solution (0.25mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
Storage condition : Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
